Saying "Thank You" To Our Supporters...
Middendorf Foundation,
Inc.
Morton & Sophia Macht Foundation
The Maryland Ravens would like to say "Thank You to their supporters" because without each of them, the Maryland Ravens would not have been able to reach out to so many for so long....
Still, there is much to do. We invite other organizations, companies, and individuals to join our list of supporters. To find out how, call Maryland Ravens, Inc. at (410)825-5359.
What We've Accomplished...
From January through December 2006, the Maryland Ravens' Disability Awareness Program (DAP) focused primarily on providing support
to Baltimore City's physically challenged participants who require transportation, equipment, or financial assistance so that they
could participate in the wheelchair basketball programs as well as disability awareness demonstrations in many of Baltimore's communities.
The number of schools and agencies visited during fiscal year 2006 was 18 presenting to 4,875 attendees. In addition, we were able
to provide athletic training to approximately 20 physically challenged persons whereby sponsoring a wheelchair basketball team who
finished 11 and 5 this season.
Here's What They're Saying...

Dear Eddie and the Maryland Ravens:
Everyone would like to thank you for your participation in Warren Elementary's
Special Awareness Day again this year. The Maryland Ravens are a real highlight of the day for the students, as well as, the teachers
and parent volunteers. Your group shares such a wealth of information as well as their feelings, which helps the students understand
that a disability doesnt have to stop you from doing many of the things that you would like to do.
The students truly experience
and can understand your motto to "look beyond the disabilities....you will find people with abilities.
Again, thanks so much for all you did to help make Warren Elementary's Special Awareness Day special.

The ShArcs squared off against the Maryland Ravens in a charity game at Aberdeen High School to benefit The Arc: Northern Chesapeake Region...
The Ravens scored 76 points with only four players. With crisp passes and brisk shots, they made consistent swishes.
"It's like the Aberdeen High School team playing the Harlem Globetrotters," said Dequinne Guary, a ShARCs player in a
Harford County/Sunpaper article dated June 17, 2007.

Mr. Diggs,
You are more than welcome. In fact, the appreciation comes from us. You all did a great job of bringing awareness to the
Boeing Philadelphia site. Employees felt engaged and rewarded; being given the opportunity to play and learn from you all. So, on
behalf of the Boeing Philadelphia site, "thank you" for your valuable time, efforts and dedication in helping provide awareness of
the abilities of others, to the Boeing employees.
I also wanted to share some of the photos taken of the basketball game. The game
will be covered in our Boeing News Now. Please keep in touch and we will definitely remember your team around campus.
